My most recent paintings have been inspired by the hay meadows of the Yorkshire Dales, and the windswept coastal landscapes of south Cumbria and north Lancashire, where I live and work. The main emphasis of my work is vibrancy and movement in nature.

My original watercolour of a heather moorland soil profile, was recently used as the cover photo for the scientific journal, Trends in Ecology & Evolution.
